Trail RunningA growing segment of our mountain users over the years have been mountain runners. Running the same trails people are hiking and biking, mountain runners take full advantage of the great trails here in Snowmass. Two events stand out; the first is our La Sportiva Trail Race Trifecta. This 2-day 3-stage event includes running on some of the most incredible trails you can image. The second event is in the fall amidst the beauty of the changing Aspens. This event, dubbed the Golden Leaf Half-Marathon, takes runners from the Snowmass Mall all the way to Buttermilk Ski area on the World-Famous Government Trail. Packing the running shoes is easy, next time you are here make sure to step out your door and go for a jog you will never forget.
