Snowmass Village BlogInteresting Weather PatternsThis past week saw some interesting weather with a few days and nights of windy conditions. There were some areas of the mountain that were less than perfect and others that were filled in with powdery snow. Riding up the lift to catch Long Shot, which was the noon groom at Snowmass last week I was glad to hear a visitor from San Francisco say that they were skiing all week and loved every minute of it. She was not going to do Long Shot but after a five-minute lift ride she was convinced that she was going to do it.
